Prices in CAD, plus GST/PST where applicable. BC Registries filing fees (≈$44/annual report) are charged at cost, no markup. Switching from another records office is always free.

Do I really need a registered & records office?
Yes — it's mandatory under the BC Business Corporations Act. Every BC company must maintain both at BC addresses. The only question is whether it's your home address (public, and it moves when you do), a law firm's binder, or Minuted.
Is Minuted a law firm? Do I still need a lawyer?
Minuted's plans are flat-fee records and filing services — deliberately simple, deliberately not billed by the hour. But Minuted is operated by a practicing BC lawyer, so when your company genuinely needs legal advice — a shareholder agreement, a restructuring, a sale — you don't get referred to a stranger. It's handled in-house under a separate flat-quoted retainer, with member pricing. Simple by default, counsel when it counts.
Will this actually cost less than my law firm?
Almost always. Law firm records offices typically run about $300 a year plus tax and disbursements, with annual report filings and yearly resolutions billed separately on top. Records Office at $249 is less than that before the extras; Full Compliance at $399 usually beats the firm's all-in total while including the resolutions and the transparency register. What happens when I switch from my current provider?
We file the change of registered and records office with BC Registries (free), notify your old provider, and arrange transfer of your records. Most switches are done within two business days. Your company's standing is unaffected.
What if my minute book is basically empty?
You're in the majority — welcome. Our Minute Book Rescue rebuilds what should exist: registers, annual back-resolutions, share records. Free health check first, so you know exactly what's missing before paying anything.
Where is my data stored?
In Canada, encrypted at rest and in transit. Transparency register data is access-restricted in line with BC law — it is not visible to other portal users you invite.
